Battle of the Badges: Fishing 2009

  • Fish, boats, cars, games, music, raffles -- there was a little something for everyone at the Battle of the Badges Inshore Fishing Tournament in New Smyrna Beach, Volusia County Sheriff Ben Johnson said. 247 fishermen participated in the catch-and-release tournament. As in years past, proceeds will benefit Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, which operates community-based residential care, family counseling, camping programs and foster care to neglected, abused and at-risk children.
