In July 2011, the system grew with 20 new reefs added to 13 sites using front-end loaders to push massive concrete culverts and boxes from barges into the ocean, creating new marine habitat more than 50 feet below the waves. A 195-foot barge was another addition.

On Friday, the third leg opened and dozens of people swooshed down the zip lines and swayed on the bridges scattered around the park.
